I was born in London and I’m lucky to have called San Francisco, Seattle, and NYC my home. During 2020, I developed a bit of a crush on Chattanooga, partly because of the active triathlon scene and access to the outdoors, I moved here in December.

I’ve slogged my way through a bunch of triathlons, half marathons, swims, and long-distance bike rides. Anyone who knows me will vouch for the fact that what I lack in skill, strength, and talent, I make up for in enthusiasm… a trait that carries me through much of my life.

A native Tennessean, I have been living in Chattanooga since November of 2020. I chose to relocate to Chattanooga because it has such an incredible active community. I love to swim, bike, run, hike, paddleboard, and really anything else that involves the outdoors. I have been doing triathlon’s and other types of races for over 15 years. I have completed multiple Sprint, Olympic, 70.3 and Full Ironman Distance Triathlons, as well as many road, trail races and open water swim races.

After moving here I immediately sought a group to train with and found the Chattanooga TriClub. I moved from Orlando Florida and was a member of one of the nations largest, most structured Tri Clubs. It is my hope that as a board member I will be able to bring new ideas that will help us grow and provide a community other members are looking for.

I look forward to working with the Tri Club board and members to support this incredible community to meet their training needs.

I’m 28 years old and have lived in Chattanooga for the past 8 years. I currently work for Echelon Fitness as an FP&A Analyst. I love being outdoors and active which is what has drawn me into competing in Triathlon’s. I plan on competing in the 2023 Chattanooga Ironman 70.3 as well as multiple half/full marathons this year.

She has also recently helped get a few new work friends on the path towards their first 70.3s.

In the "real world" Kelly is a Senior Security Program Manager. She has a history of successfully managing large, complex problems and situations through to success.

I always loved cycling and got into triathlon in 2019. My first tri was the waterfront, 2019. Since then I have been hooked on it. I love group rides and group runs because it makes suffering a little bit easier. My goal is to crack the 5hr 30 min mark for 70.3.

Hi there! My name is Iain. I'm new to Chattanooga, new to triathlons and new to the Chattanooga Tri Club. As a recent transplant from Vermont and recently retired high school teacher, I started volunteering at races here and met some incredible folks - triathletes and other volunteers. I was hooked!

I reached out the club and met a board member for a beer to learn more about this special community. As a long time runner and athlete of several sports, triathlons were brand new to me.  After more stories around the table of beer and witnessing first hand at the 70.3 here in Chattanooga, I was totally inspired by the grit and determination of all in the tri community. Have I said that I was hooked?

I entered and completed my first sprint this summer. I now have my sights on several more with an Olympic on the horizon. Who knows, maybe a half is not far down the road.  I'm sure I can learn a lot from all of you and am committed to help the club in any way that I can. In the meantime, I better train harder to keep up with all of you! I'm learning how to 'embrace the suck!'
