We highly recommend picking up your swag the day before the camp if you can. We will have cue sheets for the bike and other information to share. There will be club members on site to help you with any questions. We will be taking a poll to see how many participants may be biking longer than the 1 loop of the course.

6:00am - Meet at Erwin Marina (201 Riverfront Pkwy, Chattanooga TN 37402) Parking will be across the street. You will need to pay for parking. Water support will take position at this time. We will start boarding the boat, White Lightning, at 6:30am. The boat will take you to the 2.4 mile swim drop off and then you will swim to the boat ramp that is beside Erwin Marina. There will be people at the ramp to waive you in and help you out of the water.

We will have a shoe drop off and they will be waiting at the swim exit however, it is your responsibility to pick them up afterwards or they will be disposed of at the end of the camp.

7:15am - We will start the swim approximately at this time. All swimmers must have a swim buoy and swim caps on for visibility on the river. Last swimmer must be out of the water by 10:30 am. The first boat will leave right at sunrise. The second boat will follow, once the first boat is full.

8:30am - As soon as you complete the swim you will need to start your self-paced 13.1 run (If you want to do run more you are welcome to). You will be getting out of the water at Erwin Marina. We will only be doing 1 lap of the marathon route. No cut off time for run. The run will be slightly modified due to traffic and safety. We will have one aid station at the run turnaround, with multiple water and bathroom stops along the way. Course will be marked with arrows.

11:00am - The boat will be open for you at 11:00am, with buffet lunch at 11:30am. . We will have food for all you hungry triathletes. Water and lemonade are provided, and there is a bar available for purchasing other beverages. While you are relaxing we will have a guest speaker and giveaways.

7:30am – The ride will start promptly at this time. We will have groups start based on paces. The route will be 1 loop of the Full IM bike course. SAG will be provided throughout the course, and phone numbers provided at the beginning of the ride.

Please be aware of your surroundings and exercise good bike etiquette as the course will be open to traffic. We will have 1 aid station at mile 34 at Pigeon Mountain Grill Pavilion. We intend to have some nutrition available throughout the weekend, but please be prepared with your own as well.

12:00pm - Bike cut off. We will have 2 SAG vehicles on the course sweeping and providing assistance.

If you are doing a second loop of the bike course, or any additional miles, the aide station will not be there after 12:00pm. However, the ridewithgps cues will note where there are places to buy additional hydration and nutrition supplies for any additional time you are out.

We look forward to a wonderful weekend of swimming, biking and running, as well as camaraderie in the Scenic City.

Routes:

  • Course maps to be updated if any logistics change for the TriNooga II weekend

  • Swim - Garmin Route - please note this swim is slightly long. We cannot exit at the same place we’ll exit on race day. We will exit at a ramp slightly further downstream for training day. This route is currently drawn from the race day swim start. We will update the route once we have the confirmed swim start for TriNooga weekend.

  • Run - Garmin Route - one loop of the run course - except we will not run on Amnicola. We will have a slight detour and remain on the Riverwalk for safety. We will also slightly modify the out and back on Barton. We will run out on Barton, and as it is a very narrow side walk, to ease congestion, we will run back along a parallel road. Don’t worry, you’ll still get ALL THE HILLS!

  • Bike - Garmin Route - one loop of the bike course - no detours from actual race day!

  • Bike - Ridewithgps - TriNooga II Route - only cues are turn cues

  • Bike - Ridewithgps - TriNooga II Route - additional cues for road hazards, bathrooms, climbs and the aide station.
