The dates of Tri Nooga Spring are Friday, April 19th – Sunday, April 21st 2024. You can choose to participate in whatever activities you would like. Of course the more you do the more fun you will have.

Spring Tri Nooga Registration is Open to club members and non-members alike until slots are filled.

5 to 7pm - Packet Pick-up will be at Naked River Brewing Company (1791 Reggie White Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37408). You're going to want to make a point to come to packet pick up even if it's just for the swag, brisket, or a beer.

6:30am - Meet at Erwin Marina (201 Riverfront Pkwy, Chattanooga TN 37402) Parking will be across the street. You will need to pay for parking. Water support will take position at this time. We will start boarding the boat, White Lightning. You will need to sign a liability waiver for the boat captain. The boat will take you to the swim drop off and then you will swim to the boat ramp that is beside Erwin Marina. There will be people at the ramp to waive you in and help you out of the water. Wetsuits are allowed and encouraged as the water currently is low 60s.

We will have a shoe drop off and they will be waiting at the swim exit however, it is your responsibility to pick them up afterwards or they will be disposed of at the end of the camp.

7:30am - We will promptly start the swim. All swimmers must have a swim buoy and swim caps on for visibility on the river. Last swimmer must be out of the water by 9:30 am

8:30am - As soon as you complete the swim you will need to start your self-paced 7 mile run (or 13.1 if you want). The run course will be slightly modified due to traffic and safety. There will be one aid station on the river walk near the rowing center will be held on a picnic table that you will bass multiple times. The course will be marked appropriately with arrows.

12:00pm - Lunch time. We will have food for all you hungry triathletes. While you are relaxing we will have a guest speaker and giveaways.

Spring Tri Nooga Registration

Remember registration is open to Tri Club Members only - so consider sign up for the Tri Club to take advantage of the discount and other offers from our sponsors.

Routes:

  • Garmin: Run Course. Slightly modified from the race. We will not run on Amnicola, to avoid traffic.

  • Garmin - Course created from 4/21 run. - a few notes on arrows. This garmin run started about .2 from the Southern Belle. Leave the Belle and head up river. As you come to the top of the first hill, go up the stairs (lots of arrows). Do not go on Amnicola, which is the race course. We stay off that for Trinooga. Later, you’ll see a pink X made of arrows, which is where the aide station will be. The turn around is up a little further - it is slightly further than previous courses, do to IM route change. The turn around is marked with arrows. If you need a bathroom, there is one just slightly further than the turn around. Through this whole part, you will see arrows going both ways, as this section is an out and back. As you return to downtown, stay on the road at Battery, you’ll head down a little alley, and then turn right on Veterans. Arrows should be great until you get off the walking bridge (we notices this morning that someone had removed an arrow - it was replaced, just a heads up). Rest is clear - you’ll cross the road to the point where you went up the stairs, turn left and head back to the Belle

  • RidewithGPS: Bike Course. Cues added for road hazards and busy areas.

  • Garmin: Bike Course.
